Project management

In a complex construction project it is crucial to have an overview of economy, schedule and safety. With a project manager from MI Support you get a partner who takes responsibility for creating momentum and ensuring that the project develops as planned. Throughout the entire project we coordinate activities, manage risks and follow up on decisions, so you get a strong foundation for steering the project safely to the finish with fewer delays, a better overview and greater control over the process.

A strong sparring partner

Let our experienced project managers provide both overview and momentum

Leading a construction project requires solid preparation and detailed dialogue with the client, so expectations for the project are aligned. The majority of MI Support's project managers have many years of experience sitting on exactly the client and advisory side of larger and complex construction projects. Here, continuous reporting on the project's status as well as joint dialogue on and handling of any challenges that may arise along the way is absolutely essential.

Why MI Support

Why choose a project manager from MI Support?

Whether you need help with planning, resource management or risk management, MI Support's project managers are qualified to handle the task. Most of our project managers have solid experience and expertise within project management in the construction industry, which ensures you a more efficient and successful project execution.

Planning

You get a clear overview and a safe direction throughout the entire project. The project is planned from start to finish with fixed milestones, coordinated activities and ongoing management of time and budget. This ensures momentum and gives you a solid basis for decisions, so you avoid delays and financial surprises.

Resource management

You get the full benefit of your resources such as materials, labour and equipment. The resources are planned and coordinated so they are available when needed and used efficiently throughout the project. This reduces bottlenecks, increases utilisation and ensures a more efficient execution of the project.

Risk management

You get a better overview of risks in your project and a structured approach to handling them. A risk plan is prepared, and work is carried out systematically with prevention and handling along the way. This minimises the risk of delays, budget overruns and unforeseen challenges and creates a more stable and predictable project flow.

The project manager's role

From preparation to execution

Our project managers take responsibility throughout the project's life cycle with structure, overview and a focus on quality in every phase.

Phase 01

The preparation phase

In the preparation phase, a project manager from MI Support can, among other things, handle:

  • defining the project's goals and success criteria in close collaboration with the client
  • developing a realistic project and schedule plan that identifies the necessary activities and tasks for fulfilling the project's goals
  • establishing a communication plan that describes how the project's stakeholders will be informed of the project's status and progress
  • allocating the necessary resources to the project, such as personnel, materials, equipment and budget
  • identifying and assessing potential risks and possible obstacles to the project's success and developing a plan for handling them.
Phase 02

The execution phase

In the execution phase of a construction project, a project manager from MI Support can, among other things, handle:

  • following the construction closely and monitoring the progress of the work, so the construction stays within the established schedule and budget
  • ensuring that all necessary resources such as labour, materials and equipment are available at the right time and place
  • ensuring that the finished construction meets the quality standards laid down in the contract and required by rules and laws
  • checking that safety and health procedures are followed on the construction site, so the risk of work accidents and health damage is minimised
  • maintaining good communication with all involved parties, so any problems or discrepancies can be handled and resolved quickly and efficiently.
Get a safe, realistic and aligned construction project with AB18

Contract basis

Get a safe, realistic and aligned construction project with AB18

AB18 is a standard contract for construction and civil engineering works in Denmark, prepared by the Association of Consulting Engineers (FRI) and Danish Construction. Project managers from MI Support have solid experience with AB18, including the established requirements for schedules, payment terms and quality standards. The majority of our project managers have further training in AB18, and we continuously ensure that everyone is equipped with the latest knowledge in the field.

During construction, our project managers will support the client in applying AB18, so a clear contract framework and a shared understanding of the project is created for all parties, among other things in terms of scope, schedule, budget and division of responsibility. This can help reduce the risk of conflicts and misunderstandings between the parties and ensure a more efficient and successful completion of the project.
