What is client consultancy? +
Client consultancy is independent advisory that safeguards the client's interests in a construction project. MI Support's client advisors are the link between client, designers, contractors and authorities and other stakeholders, and we ensure control of economy, time, quality, risks and sustainability.
When should we involve a client advisor? +
The earlier, the better. When the client advisor is involved from the initial planning phase, we can ensure that the construction matches the business need, that risks are identified early, and that the right contract form is chosen. However, we can also come on board in later phases.
What is the difference between client consultancy and project management? +
The client advisor is the client's independent sparring partner and representative. The project manager handles the day-to-day management and coordination of the project. At MI Support we can take on both roles or work closely with your internal project manager.
Do you also act as the client's representative on site? +
Yes. Our client advisors can act as the client's representative throughout the execution phase with supervision, economic management, quality control and coordination of handover, defect review and commissioning.
